- SC497A temperature sensor reading is out of range.
- SC542The fusing unit did not reach or hold the temperature needed to bond toner to paper.
- SC543The machine detected an abnormal high temperature reading in the fusing system and shut down as a safety stop.
- SC544A hard high-temperature or fuser-control fault was detected.
- SC545The machine believes a fuser heater stayed on or heat rose in an unsafe way.
- SC554A fusing temperature sensor reported a high-temperature condition at the end of the monitored zone.
- SC559The machine recorded repeated jams in the fusing area and shut down as a safety lock.
